Showcased at the Eastern Front Gallery, in the village of Cambria, are dozens of Eastern Front’s beautiful World War II 1/35 scale dioramas. Diorama themes range from the cold winter landscapes of Russia, to autumn landscapes of the war in France. Visitors can view anything from small vignettes to larger super-dioramas. Every piece requires months of intricate building, painstaking detailed painting and final composition and arrangement. Guests are amazed at the level of detail in every art piece. Model builders will particularly appreciate the gallery, but you do not have to be a model builder, military or WWII enthusiasts to enjoy the amount of effort and beauty that is incorporated in every diorama. Every piece has a compelling way of drawing the viewer into an era and place now 75 years past.
